Beyond the Stats Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Beyond the Stats ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should discontinue use of the App.
1. Entertainment and Informational Use
Beyond the Stats provides sports statistics, predictions, simulations, rankings, analysis, and related information for informational and entertainment purposes only.
The App does not provide financial, investment, betting, gambling, or professional advice.
Nothing contained within the App should be interpreted as encouraging, promoting, or endorsing gambling or wagering.
Users remain solely responsible for any decisions they make based on information provided by the App.
2. No Guarantee of Accuracy
The App uses statistical models, historical data, and other available information to generate predictions and analyses.
While reasonable efforts are made to provide accurate and timely information, the developer makes no warranties or guarantees regarding:
- Prediction accuracy
- Match outcomes
- League tables
- Competition formats
- Team information
- Historical statistics
- Live scores
- Match schedules
- Data completeness
- Availability of predictions
Sports data is dynamic and may occasionally contain errors, omissions, delays, or inaccuracies.
Actual sporting results may differ significantly from any prediction generated by the App.
3. User Responsibility
By using the App, you acknowledge that:
- You use the App entirely at your own risk.
- You are responsible for evaluating any information provided by the App.
- The developer is not responsible for financial losses, betting losses, business losses, or other damages arising from use of the App.
4. Premium Subscriptions
The App may offer monthly and annual premium subscriptions.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through your Apple ID account before the renewal date.
Payments are processed exclusively through Apple's App Store.
The developer does not process payments directly.
Subscription pricing may change in the future. Where required, Apple will notify existing subscribers before any applicable price changes take effect.
Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, all software, designs, graphics, logos, branding, algorithms, prediction models, written content, and original materials contained within the App are owned by Beyond the Stats or licensed for use.
You may not:
- Copy or redistribute the App.
- Reverse engineer the App except where permitted by law.
- Modify or create derivative works.
- Commercially exploit any part of the App without written permission.
6. Third-Party Content
The App may display sports information obtained from third-party data providers.
The developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or timeliness of third-party information.
All trademarks, team names, league names, and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
Beyond the Stats is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with any sports league, governing body, team, broadcaster, sportsbook, betting operator, or other official organization unless expressly stated.
7. Availability of Service
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or continuous availability.
Features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.
Temporary outages, maintenance, internet connectivity issues, API interruptions, or backend failures may affect the availability of certain features.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which damages are claimed.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to the App
The developer may update, improve, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time without prior notice.
11. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be revised periodically.
Continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
